KCRS: A fashion Artist........

I'm KCRS and I am a Fashion Artist who makes a living teaching music and private piano lessons. I feel the need to mention how I support myself and my art to avoid any confusion on what it is that I do and what I provide to you...

     I make clothes, accessories, and decor. None of which is outsourced, mass produced, or puts people's lives in danger. Creating anything and everything that is KCRS is by KCRS aka me. I'm not a self proclaimed artist but an artist recognized on a local and international scale. I was named Artist of the Month for April of 2021 by Lux and City for their First Friday Campaign for Phoenix AZ and was hand selected by RAW : Natural Born Artists, an online network that spans the globe looking to spotlight any artists they deem genuine, original, and real which they then give opportunities to showcase at their many events all across that world. You have to be selected in order to present your art at their showcase events. I was selected to present at their February 2019 showcase in Phoenix AZ and again in December 2019 at their showcase in Los Angeles CA.

        So far, I am the only person to use the term "fashion artist" to describe myself. Why do this when I could just say "Designer"? Well to be called a "Designer" takes on a whole nother set of responsibilities that I simply don't have the time or resources to fulfill. Yes, I do design everything I make, however, I don't design with the intention of making that one item 200 more times and in every size possible. I feel designers have a service to provide and responsibility to be inclusive to all shapes and sizes if the consumers have the means of paying for its value. As far KCRS? My service is providing something different, fashionable, and artistic.        As first stated, I don't make a living being an artist, I am an artist because I make a living doing something else. I can only hope that maybe one day this won't be so true. KCRS.ONLINE is a step in that direction.
